Terms of sale

1. Research use only

All materials supplied by Black Label Research are sold exclusively as chemical reference materials for in-vitro laboratory research and analytical method development by qualified researchers.

They are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics or medical devices. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, diagnostic use, therapeutic use, clinical use, or consumption of any kind.

2. Buyer certification

By placing an order, the buyer certifies that they are at least 21 years of age, that they are a qualified researcher or purchasing on behalf of a research institution, and that the material will be handled only by personnel trained in laboratory safety practices.

The buyer accepts sole responsibility for the lawful acquisition, handling, storage, use and disposal of the material in their jurisdiction.

3. No claims

Black Label Research makes no representation that any material is safe or effective for any purpose. No statement made by Black Label Research or appearing on this website constitutes medical, clinical or dosing advice.

4. Documentation

Each lot is supplied with a lot-specific certificate of analysis reflecting third-party testing of that lot. Analytical results describe the material as tested and are not a warranty of performance in any assay or model.

5. Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and may change without notice. Orders are confirmed only once payment has settled. Payment is processed by our payment provider; Black Label Research does not store card details.

6. Shipping

Orders are packed cold where required and dispatched with tracking. Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer on delivery to the carrier. The buyer is responsible for import duties, taxes and compliance with local import restrictions.

7. Returns

Because these are temperature-sensitive research materials, sales are final once a shipment has been accepted. If a vial arrives damaged, or the material does not match its certificate of analysis, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will replace or refund the affected item.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Black Label Research's total liability arising from any order is limited to the purchase price of the material supplied. Black Label Research is not liable for any misuse of material, or for any indirect or consequential loss.

9. Refusal of supply

We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we believe the material may be used outside of lawful laboratory research.
